Job description

Provide subject matter expertise to strengthen the organization’s financial health and long-term sustainability. Evaluate performance against budgets and strategic plans; and identify cost-reduction, efficiency, and growth opportunities. Coordinate financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, and investment activities. Interpret financial statements and forecasts. Analyze costs, pricing, and profitability. Provide input on capital allocation and investment priorities, with particular focus on advancing technology capabilities and strengthening operational infrastructure. Assess the financial implications of operational initiatives, including expansion activities, new business launches, and post-acquisition performance, and provide insights to support management decision-making. Develop and maintain financial models including three statement financial modeling to support strategic decision-making and growth planning. Conduct financial analyses such as discounted cash flow and earnings-multiple assessments to inform strategic and investment discussions. Collaborate across departments to align financial, operational, and strategic objectives.


Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Finance or Economics. Will accept any combination of education & experience equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s as determined by a qualified credential service. 

Experience: Two years experience as an Operations Director, Finance Manager, Chief Operating Officer or related. 

Special Skills: 2 years experience should include the following: (1) establishing, monitoring, and analyzing operational KPIs including unit economics and margin analysis, to measure performance, improve efficiency, and align operations with strategic business objectives; (2) performing cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and inventory and procurement process control, including development of spreadsheet-based systems using advanced spreadsheet functions for data analysis and reporting; (3) conducting financial planning and analysis, including company-wide and project-level budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; (4) developing business intelligence reports and KPI dashboard using spreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel and/or business intelligence platforms such as Power BI; and (5) Implementing operational systems to track workflows, standardize operational documentation, and support cross-functional business processes. The position also requires knowledge of integrated three-statement financial modeling; discounted cash flow analysis; earnings-multiple valuation analyses; and financial analysis related to capital structure decisions, including evaluation of debt and equity financing alternatives and their impact on cost of capital and shareholder returns.
